Rustic Stone Fire Pit

A lovely space to enjoy evenings relaxing outdoors, this new outdoor living space project in Anthem has some excellent features, starting with this fire pit’s natural split face stack stone surface. It’s a modern rustic look that picks up the stone pillars in the fence and raised spa surround.

This patio actually has two fire pits, the large square one above not far from the swimming pool, and a smaller rectangular one on the other side of the patio close to the bathroom and spa shown in our spa surrounds portfolio. For some homeowners, having two fire pits makes no sense, but for those who do a lot of entertaining and host large groups of guests, it gives them more conversation spot possibilities. And on a patio this sprawling, it also puts dancing flames close to the spa where it adds great ambiance to a quiet evening alone, where the larger one at the other end of the swimming pool is too far away to enjoy on such an occasion.

We did a lot more here than build fire pits, Anthem backyard landscaping by Desert Crest at this home includes all hardscaping: Noce Travertine paver patio and pool deck. The coping on the firepits is the same rich travertine stone as we used on the spa surround and paving.
