Desert Crest has done all of my hard scape work & landscaping including irrigation lighting. They built walls & did my pergola. They do pools as well & basically design outdoor spaces.

I love that they put together a plan for me that I can do in stages & gives me honest advice- for example buy travertine even though it costs more upfront there is zero maintenance. Pergola vs wood & use the best manufacturer that never has issues.

He was recommended to me from a friend & I'm really happy with their work. I’ll use them for any outdoor projects because they do great work & I can trust them. Pricing was reasonable- not the cheapest, but I also value quality that isn’t going to cause me issues later.

They also do a 3d design. It is a helpful visual!

I can not recommend the team at Desert Crest enough! From the initial design consultation to the execution, everyone involved was timely, professional, efficient and transparent. The design recommendation far surpassed what I could ever envision for our property and their software is great. We had a consultation to review the design that made me feel like a client in an HGTV makeover show.

Their proposal and pricing is so detailed that you know exactly what you're getting and for what price and while we needed to adjust a bit (due to unforeseen circumstances) they were fair to credit us where needed and even when above and beyond in the execution (of some of the project) without nickel and diming us for the extra work.

I wish I could include before and after pictures because the transformation of our backyard is amazing- our project included hardscape, a custom firepit, irrigation, planting and sod and not only are these guys quick, the quality of their work is grade A. We are so pleased with our project and this team, we're already planning the next so if you are planning yours, look no further... Jesse and his team are the best.

The Project: 2,500 square feet of travertine paver, custom fire pit, custom aluminum pergola, water feature, stone facing of existing BBQ island.

Our background: I worked in residential construction from laborer to finish carpenter. 40 years in hospital work including serving as the Owner's Rep on construction projects. My wife and I have had three houses built and two extensively renovated. I would describe myself as having high expectations.

Outcome: Excellent quality. On time. Less than 2% variance in cost due to issues that came up during the project (issues nearly always occur during renovation projects). All issues/questions resolved quickly and fairly to our mutual satisfaction. The project was completed on time.

The Rating: We rate Desert Crest and Jesse Inzunza as a 10 on a 1-10 scale.

From start to finish, I was very pleased with the way our project turned out. We are in a brand new build and had an empty dirt back yard to start with. First, Charles took a little drawing I made of my vision, and turned it into exactly what I wanted, except better than I could've imagined. Then, Jesse and his team came out and created that vision for us. They were prompt every morning of the project and worked diligently through the week to finish the project. This is an outstanding company. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. We had a built-in BBQ and extended counter/bar area built, travertine patio and walkway, fire pit and lighting along the walkway and uplights on plants. We had power and gas lines installed (they handled all of the permitting) and our irrigation system was completely redone. Our backyard originally had nothing in it and we needed help coming up with a design. Chuck did an excellent job of creating the design and then working with us to get us what we wanted within our budget. He was honest about telling us what would and wouldn't work. Very appreciative of his advice. They were able to start the project about a week early, and we were fine with that. Once started, they kept on their timeline and finished on time. The crew was fantastic. They are very hard workers and you could tell that they had certain goals to meet each day, and did. The owner, Jesse, was on site to check in almost every day. The crew arrived on time and cleaned up each day. Jesse also stayed in good communication with us throughout the project so we always knew what was going on. He explained how to program our irrigation and lighting systems. So very happy we chose them and will use them again if we decide to do more.

They completed the job 4 days early & it looks amazing!!! I had interviewed a total of 4 different company's to redo my backyard. From removing large fruit trees, a damaged brick wall, redoing my BBQ set up, completely redoing my very old irrigation system (front & back), replacing rock, laying travertine over damaged cool deck, new led lights, adding a fountain, some synthetic grass, etc.. Our backyard, which resembled a lunar landscape, is now a very pretty desert garden thanks to Desert Crest. The process began when we met with Chuck, the landscape designer, who is familiar with the plants that do well in our area. His design included a computer generated picture of what the completed garden would look like. The plants arrived on a Monday afternoon and Danny and his crew began work early the next morning (as scheduled) and the job, including drip irrigation, was completed the following day.

Jesse, the owner of Desert Crest, was involved from start to finish; our residential lot in a subdivision received as much attention as if we were a mansion in the priciest part of town. I enjoyed every step of the process with this company. The designer Chuck listened to my ideas/requests/needs and added his ideas to come up with the perfect layout for our house. The owner and designer were on-site day one to walk through the plans. DC came up with ideas I hadn’t thought of that really added more appeal to the landscaping. Jesse &and his crew at Desert Crest took a large empty, back yard and made it into the perfect gathering place for our family & friends. A block wall which separated the pool from the project area was removed. They added a bocce court, large putting green, Ramada with gas fire pit. Equally important was Jesse's knowledge of trees & plant material. I appreciated that they didn't over plant, allowing the new shrubs and trees to grow and develop. Not only is that good for plants and trees, but my budget. More plants will be added in the future.

All my questions were answered & addressed. Any issues that came up, only one, was taken care of immediately. They were on time, on budget.
